Fire Guard flue sealing is a two part ceramic coating applied over terra-cotta to keep moisture, smoke, creosote, & carbon monoxide contained so that it can’t leach into concealed areas of the chimney or your home. This improves the performance of your appliances and the safety of a chimney. It is a restoration product intended to fill voids and cracks less than 1″ and is only recommended for clean straight flue passages. Application is performed by using a custom shaped foam applicator, vibrator, winch, & pancake like material that is applied & then smoothed. We supply & install this specially licensed product.
