Firebox [Pointing]
Fireboxes are commonly constructed of firebrick with 1/2″ wide mortar joints and portland mortar mix. Ideally they should be constructed of firebrick with 1/8″ wide joints and refractory cement. Regardless of your construction type we perform the maintenance required to repair these deteriorating joints on the floor or walls of a fireplace.
