The Role:
As an Apprentice in our Mechanical Division, you’ll be learning the ins and outs of mechanical
work for fireplaces and chimneys. You’ll also train for Natural Gas and Propane installations,
preparing for certification. This role is all about growing your skills, from working with the team to
eventually guiding and training others. You’ll also develop leadership abilities and get plenty of
opportunities to step up and contribute.
What You’ll Do:
- Learn and master our processes, following the guidance of the Foreman and Supervisor.
- Develop your mechanical and technical skills specific to fireplaces and chimneys.
- Train for Natural Gas and Propane installations, preparing for certification.
- Help guide and mentor laborers as you grow your own leadership skills.
- Strengthen your customer service abilities and maintain a growth mindset.
- Support the company’s values, mission, and vision in everything you do.
- Work with different teams when needed, contributing wherever you’re needed.
- Commit to continuous learning and growth with the help of our training programs.
- Always ensure safety is a priority on every job.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Some prior construction experience is needed—especially if you’ve worked
with HVAC, kitchen & bath, or anything mechanical. Experience in the fireplace and
chimney industry is a bonus but not required. - Willingness to Learn: You’re eager to grow and develop, whether through hands-on
work or formal training. - Team Player: You can work well with others and contribute to our team’s success.
- Customer Service Skills: You’re open to learning how to deliver great service to our
clients. - Problem Solver: You love tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions.
- Driver’s License: You have an unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s license.
