Flashing is the rubber, galvanized steel, aluminum, or copper metal work often seen at the intersection between the chimney and the roof. It is intended to prevent water from entering into the building and is composed of a base flashing under the shingles and a counter flashing acting as an overlap joint. We install & replace these components.
