Gasketing is the pliable high temperature material found between two hard materials that provides an air tight seal. As the material ages it fatigues and needs to be replaced as a poor seal will negatively impact the performance of every appliance by allowing it to be less controllable. Gasket can be many colors such as white, bronze, black, & red. Shapes vary from round, oval, tadpole, flat, and paper like sheets.
